I am taking the garden a day at a time. I have fallen upon light intensity issues. Those issues have caused me to reflect on actions taken during this run. Actions that could have affected this outcome.
I massively defoliated. When I did it, I kind of told myself I was overdoing it but I reckon that was for now. As I have learned by doing, the plant suffers greatly when overdoing defoliation. The super healthy plant throughout vegetative state is a shell of itself. In retrospect I see how the defoliation was too much on the plant, the timing of the defoliations were not timely. The result was a stressed plant during flower. We will see what the ultimate outcome is.
My overall environment was not optimal either. I was reluctant to use a humidifier or a heater at times I probably needed to. Not totally sure of all the environmental factors but I am going to be looking to improve greatly in that area.
I am thirsty for a run worthy of what I know myself capable of. I am focusing though on finishing this race well and best I can. It’s heart breaking to get close to the finish and experience issues or deficiencies that affect the desired outcome. The race can’t end because of that though. There is much to be learned on the way through the finish line.
