Waiting for the lights to turn on

What a friggin day. First off bravo me. A lot was accomplished on this May 20th of 2026. The highlight for this post is my 4×4 tent.

This baby came in today. What a beast. All of my equipment just fits. What I was doing in two tents I can now do in one. I’m happy but not satisfied. The tent setup has taken me many hours and it is still not finished. The first time I was wrapping things up I moved the tent for a better fit then next thing ya know all 15 liters I put in the humidifier was on the floor. Fun times. Now that has been settled the humidifier is not being recognized by the AI controller. I plug it into the controller, nothing. I take it out of the controller and it looks like I am at a show with smoke and pyro but only the smoke. That thing is a beast. I just need it to connect to my controller.

3 years, 4 years, 5 years later, I finally have a 4×4. In my heart I kinda knew that’s what i’ve needed all along but for some reason I always told myself the 4×4 would be too big. I’m excited to see what happens at the end of this run. I’ve got 4 plants in there now that have tiny buds at this point. I blew this run in so many ways that I just didn’t care about until I started seeing flower results.

This isn’t my first rodeo so I know at this point I should be somewhat amazed. I’ve had previous runs that amazed me by this point. Like the run 2 runs ago. I had 2 plants in 6 inch pots during flower that grew some of the biggest top colas i’ve ever grown. This run i’ve got 4 plants running and you could probably combine the biggest buds of them all and they wouldn’t be the size of the nugs 2 runs ago. One of these culitvars I was running at that time and saw better results.

This run I got tunnel vision on watering and feeding because the run before that I sucked at it. Everything was good during veg but as soon as flower hit my humidity neglect started biting me in the booty. Like last year around this time humidity hit me but this time my average humidity was around 40%. My VPD was high during early flower and while I was able to lower it mid flower it was wildly inconsistent. I figured “never dealt with low humidity it can’t be as bad as high humidity.” Boy was I wrong.

Lights on catch ya later.
